Smooth and well damped zoom and manual focus rings. No zoom creep at all. Silent and fast focusing - no "hunting." And, finally, great pictures! A little barrel distortion at 10mm, but exceedingly sharp. Focus down to about 9 inches, and from there "to eternity." This is an excellent lens. It is becoming one of my favorites.
